NEW YEAR, NEW PLAYERS: The Rip City Remix signed guard Kevion Nolan on Jan. 1 and Kaiden Rice on Jan. 5 from the player pool. The rookies each come with some G League experience. Nolan was briefly with the Birmingham Squadron for training camp before being waived, and Rice played 10 games this season with the Westchester Knicks

COMEBACK KINGS: The Remix defeated the Salt Lake City Stars on the road 126-122 on Jan. 4 after being down by 14 points to start the fourth quarter. Six Remix players scored 17+ points in the win, including both Rayan Rupert (19 pts., 16 rb.) and Ashton Hagans (18 pts., 14 ast.) earning double-doubles. The Remix rallied to score 38 points in the final quarter and win the game.

OVERTIME THRILLER: The Re­mix took down the Delaware Blue Coats in the franchise’s first ever overtime game on Dec. 30. Terence Davis landed a three-point shot to reach the target score of 126.

DEFENSIVE STAND: The Rip City Remix won their first-ever match up against the Rio Grande Valley Vipers 117-103 on Dec. 21. The Remix defense did not allow the Vipers to score a field goal for the first seven minutes, taking a 20-2 lead to start the first quarter. Six Remix players scored in double figured, including four starters.

BLOCK PARTY: Rip City Remix led the league with 130 total blocks through the showcase cup. Ibou Badji contribut­ed with the second most total blocks (44 blk) and ranked fifth in blocks per game (2.7 BPG).
