Raptors 905 defeat the Remix, 135-125

PORTLAND, Ore. – Feb. 27, 2024 – The Rip City Remix fell to the Raptors 905 at Chiles Center on Tuesday night by a final score of 135-125. Rip City came out strong, scoring 41 points in the first quarter and putting them ahead by six at the break. Raptors 905 outscored the Remix 45-21 in the third quarter after going on a 20-4 run to open the frame. The 905 had their largest lead of 22 with 11 minutes remaining in the fourth quarter.
Taze Moore led the Remix with 27 points, six assists and two rebounds. Alex Reese sparked a flame off the bench, following with 25 points (9-13 FG, 7-10 3PT) and four rebounds. Two-way player Justin Minaya earned 15 points, seven rebounds and four assists in the home loss.
For the Raptors 905, two-way player Javon Freeman-Liberty led the team with 25 points, eight assists, five steals and four rebounds. Jontay Porter recorded 21 points, seven assists, seven rebounds and two steals in the victory. Mouhamadou Gueye posted 18 points and had a team-high eight rebounds.
