RIP CITY REMIX DEFEAT OKLAHOMA CITY BLUE

PORTLAND, Ore. – Jan. 14, 2024 – The Rip City Remix defeated the Oklahoma City Blue in the first game of the back-to-back series, 99-95 on Sunday afternoon.
After ending the third quarter down seven points, the Remix rallied to outscore the Blue 30-19 in the final quarter to secure the win. In his first game with Rip City, Taze Moore scored the go-ahead three-pointer with 26.8 seconds remaining. Moore then sealed the deal after getting fouled and hitting both free throws with 5.9 seconds left in the game, pushing the lead to four points.
Antoine Davis led the team with 21 points and three rebounds, for his fourth consecutive 20+ point game. Ashton Hagans earned 16 points, eight rebounds, six assists and three steals in the win. In his first regular season game, Quinton Rose scored 16 points off the bench with three assists, three rebounds and two steals. Taze Moore finished the night with 12 points.
For the Oklahoma City, Jahmi’us Ramsey came off the bench to be the top scorer for the Blue with 19 points, nine rebounds and four assists. Noah Starkey recorded 12 points and 11 rebounds. Hunter Maldonado and Caleb McConnell each scored double doubles, both recording 10 points and 10 rebounds.
