Rip City Remix Outshined the Salt Lake City Stars in 112-107 Win

The Rip City Remix took a game on the road against the Salt Lake City Stars on Tuesday night, 112-107. Coming down to the wire with nine lead changes during the fourth quarter, the Remix were able to come out on top due to a late lay-up from Taze Moore to go up by three points with 26 seconds left. Ashton Hagans was able to seal the deal with two made free throws with 1.9 seconds left to push the lead to five.

D’moi Hodge led the Remix with 19 points, five rebounds, four assists and two steals, with 17 points in the first half. Ashton Hagans followed with a double-double earning 16 points, 10 assists, four rebounds and two steals in the win. In his first game back following a 10-day stint with the Trail Blazers, Taze Moore scored 16 points (nine in the fourth quarter) off the bench to contribute to the victory. Anthony Duruji contributed a team-high 9 rebounds in his first game with Rip City.

Coming off the bench for the Stars, Brice Sensabaugh tied for a team-high 21 points, 10 rebounds, and two steals. Johnny Juzang also scored 21 points, seven rebounds, one block and one steal. Isaiah Miller The Stars bench (66 points) outscored the starters (41 points) by 25 in the loss.
