Game Notes: Rip City Remix vs. Santa Cruz Warriors - March 29 at 6 p.m. & March 30 at 3 p.m.

Remix vs. Warriors Match-up: The Rip City Remix will face the Santa Cruz Warriors to close the 2023-24 regular season in a back-to-back weekend series. The teams faced each other twice in the Showcase cup, with a 1-1 record. The Remix head into their final homestand of the regular season 9-6 when playing at Chiles Center, while the Warriors have a 7-8 record playing on the road.

Notable:

WELCOME (BACK) TO RIP CITY: The Trail Blazers have assigned Moses Brown to the Rip City Remix. He previous played four games with the Remix during the Showcase cup earlier in the season. He returned to action with the Trail Blazers on March 1 after being out since January after undergoing successful surgery on his left wrist.

PLAYOFF PUSH: The Remix are in the mix to qualify for the NBA G League Playoffs. Ahead of the first matchup vs. SCW, Rip City is in a four-way tie for 6th place in the Western Conference. The top six teams will compete for the title beginning on April 2.

RIP CITY SWEEPS ONTARIO: The Rip City Remix defeated the Ontario Clippers twice in a two-game series. On March 19, the Remix won 123-89 in their largest win margin of the season. With only eight available players, the Remix outscored the Clippers by 34 points and never let them take the lead. D’moi Hodge led the team with 24 points, with six scores from behind the arc, and a season-high 10 rebounds. Tazé Moore tied a career-high with 27 point to lead Rip City to victory on March 21. Seven of the eight available players scored in double- figures during the 114-99 win.

SINKING SOUTH BAY: : The Rip City Remix defeated the South Bay Lakers 116-112 at Chiles Center on March 15. Antoine Davis came out on fire, scoring 14 points (5-7 FG, 4-5 3PT) in the first quarter alone. Seven Remix players scored in double-figures to contribute in the team win. Rip city is now 1-1 against the Lakers in the 23-24 regular season.

The Rip City Remix fell to the Austin Spurs 114-102. D’moi Hodge led the team with 23 points, three rebounds and three steals. Justin Minaya followed with 20 points and three rebounds. George Condiit earned a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds.

RIP CITY REMIX at AUSTIN SPURS … MARCH 23, 2024 … L, 111-102

The Rip City Remix fell to the Austin Spurs in the first game of the back-to-back series, 111-102. Taze Moore led the Remix in the second consecutive game with 25 points, eight rebounds and four assists. Justin Minaya followed with 19 points and five rebounds.

RIP CITY REMIX at ONTARIO CLIPPERS … MARCH 21, 2024 … W, 114-99

The Rip City Remix defeated the Clippers, 114-99, in back to back wins. Taze Moore tied a career-high in scoring with 27 points to lead the Remix in the victory. Both George Conditt (10 points, 11 rebounds) and Jazian Gortman (14 points, 10 assists) contributed double-doubles.

RIP CITY REMIX at ONTARIO CLIPPERS … MARCH 19, 2024 … W, 123-89

The Rip City Remix outlasted the Ontario Clippers 123-89, as the Remix never allowed the Clippers to lead in the full 48 minutes. D’moi Hodge led for Rip City with 24 points and earned a season-high 10 rebounds. Ashton Hagans followed with 22 points and five assists in the win.

RIP CITY REMIX at STOCKTON KINGS … MARCH 17, 2024 .. L, 106-104 (OT)

The Rip City Remix fell to the Stockton Kings in overtime 106-104, as Stockton reached the target score with two free-throws to end the game. Kevin Knox led with 27 points, 14 rebounds and five assists. Off the bench, D’moi Hodge followed with 25 points, nine rebounds and three assists.
