In advance of their inaugural 2023-24 season, the Rip City Remix held two rounds of open tryouts, looking for the best basketball talent the Pacific Northwest has to offer to try and help fill their roster ahead of the G League year.

Things kicked off on Sept. 16 in Portland, where the Remix hosted tryouts at the Blazers Practice Facility in Tualatin. A rousing success, xx players tried out, and they were the first non-Trail Blazers players ever to compete on the hardwood within the team's practice facility.

Special guests at the tryout included Trail Blazers GM Joe Cronin, assistant GM Mike Schmitz and former NBA point guard Mike Bibby, whose son was among the participants.

One week later, the Remix headed north to Seattle, hosting their second round of open tryouts on xxx. Held at Garfield High School, the alma mater of former Trail Blazers legend Brandon Roy, xx players displayed their talent in front of Remix personnel and staff.
