Rip City Drops Season Finale Series to Santa Cruz
The Rip City Remix concluded their inaugural season in front of their home crowd, falling in back-to-back games to the Santa Cruz Warriors.

The Rip City Remix fell in the first game of a back-to-back series to the Santa Cruz Warriors on March 29, 131-124. The Remix were unable to recover after the Warriors scored 42 points in the third quarter to take an 11-point lead.
Alex Reese led the Remix off the bench with 23 points, going 5-9 from behind the arc. Kevin Knox II followed with 21 points, 11 rebounds and three assists. D’moi Hodge sparked a flame off the bench contributing 18 points, six rebounds and four steals. Two-way player Ashton Hagans earned a double-double with 14 points, 14 assists and two steals in the loss.
For the Warriors, guard Kendric Davis was one rebound shy of a triple-double, ending with 21 points, 10 assists and nine rebounds in the win. Javan Johnson and two-way player Pat Spencer also scored 21 points in the victory.
The Rip City Remix lost to the Warriors in the second game of the series 131-123. The Remix ended at the break with a 16-point lead but fell behind after the Warriors scored 47 points in the third quarter. The Warriors continued to grow their advantage to as many as 12 in the final frame.
Kevin Knox II led all scorers with 37 points, along with seven rebounds and two steals for the Remix. Off the bench, center George Conditt followed with 15 points, a team-high 12 rebounds and three assists. Taze Moore contributed a double-double with 13 points, 10 assists, four rebounds and two steals. Two-way player Ashton Hagans also earned 13 points, along with seven assists and six rebounds in the loss.
The Warriors were led by assignment player Gui Santos, who earned 28 points, six rebounds, four assists and two steals. Donovan Williams followed with 20 points and six rebounds. Two-way player Pat Spencer contributed 18 points, five rebounds and four assists in the win.
