Rip City Remix Defeat G League Ignite, 118-95

PORTLAND, Ore. – Jan. 22, 2024 – The Rip City Remix defeated G League Ignite 118-95 Monday night at Chiles Center in the first match up of this week's the two-game series. In their third meeting of the season, Rip City outscored Ignite by 10 points in the first quarter and remained on top for the rest of the game. The Remix had a lead as large as 32 points in the third quarter on the way to securing the victory.  

Antoine Davis recorded his fifth 20+ point game of the regular season with a 22-point performance. In his debut game with the Remix, D’Moi Hodge earned 21 points and four steals in the win. Additionally, Alex Reese provided a spark off the bench with 19 points, five rebounds and one block. Both Ashton Hagans (10 points, 13 assists, four steals) and George Conditt (12 points, 10 rebounds) each earned double-doubles in the win.  

For Ignite, Tyler Smith came off the bench to be the leading scorer with 19 points, four rebounds and two assists off the bench. London Johnson followed with 16 points, and a team-high five assists and four steals. Three other players scored in double-figures in the loss: Ronald Holland II (15 points, three rebounds), Babacar Sane (15 points, seven rebounds) and John Jenkins (13 points).
