Rip City Remix Swept in Sioux Falls

The Rip City Remix went down 0-2 in a back-to-back series this weekend in Sioux Falls against the Skyforce

In the first game of the series, the Remix lost by one point against the Skyforce, ending with a final score of 109-108 on Friday. Antoine Davis led the Remix with 18 points, three rebounds and three steals in the loss to Sioux Falls. Jazian Gortman provided a spark off the bench with 17 points, four rebounds and three assists. Five other Remix players were in double figures, including George Conditt (16 points), D’moi Hodge (13 points), Taze Moore (13 points), Alex Reese (12 points) and Anthony Duruji (10 points).

For Sioux Falls, the NBA Affiliate of the Miami Heat, Justin Champagnie scored 29 points, five rebounds and three blocked shots. Three Skyforce players earned double-doubled in the win: Cole Swider (25 points, 10 rebounds), Alondes Williams (19 points, 10 rebounds) and Malik Williams (13 points, 17 rebounds).

On Saturday night’s match-up, the Remix were defeated 103-86, in the lowest offensive-scoring performance of the regular-season. After beginning the game on a 10-0 run, the Remix were held to only 30 field goals, and 34.5 percent from the field. Antoine Davis led the team with 24 points, four rebounds and two assists in the loss. George Conditt earned his 10th double-double performance of the regular season with 10 points and 12 rebounds. Anthony Duruji got his first G League career start and contributed 10 boards for the team.

The Skyforce were led by Jamaree Bouyea, who had previously been on the Remix roster this season, scoring 22 points and eight assists. Cole Swider followed with 20 points, 13 rebounds and one blocked shot.
