The Remix Ride to Victory in Motor City, 127-120

The Rip City Remix defeated the Motor City Cruise on the road in Detroit on Feb. 6, 127-120, earning their tenth win of the regular season. In the middle of the third quarter, the Remix went on a 24-0 run to put them in position to never let the Cruise lead again in the remaining minutes of the game. There were four players from the Remix and two players from the Cruise who scored 20+ points in the offensive showdown in the Tuesday night match-up.
Leading Rip City in scoring for the sixth time this regular season, Antoine Davis earned 23 points in his return to Detroit, where he had a prolific college career. George Conditt was close behind with 22 points, 13 boards and one blocked shot. Ashton Hagans scored 20 points and 11 assists in the win. Alex Reese followed with a 20-point performance from the bench. In his first start with the Remix, Taze Moore scored in double figures with 13 points, six assists and six rebounds and two steals.
Motor City was led by Zavier Simpson who had a 32-point performance, along with 14 assists and six rebounds. Jared Rhoden followed with 24 points, four rebounds and two steals in the home loss. Every starter for the Cruise scored in double figures, including Buddy Boeheim (17 points, seven rebounds and four assists), Jayce Johnson (16 points, seven rebounds), and Stanley Umude (13 points, eight rebounds).
